Exploration Notes

Khadi is a handspun and handwoven natural cotton or fabric from India, that was brought back to prominence by Ghandi in a movement to limit reliance on British cloth.

These carré scarves, sewn by Talin in our Minneapolis studio, are made with a small selection of hand printed silks we brought back from little government cooperative stores around India, from Delhi to Jaipur to Ahmedabad.

They will soften with time and use, as you put them around your neck in the winter or summer.
