Junya Ishigami, Feeling Architecture
Japanese arhitect, born in 1974 in Kanagawa prefecture, Golden Lion award winner at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2010. Jumya Ishigami's exhibition designed for the Fondation Cartier is a beautiful body of work including sketches, collages, more than thirty models and films. Kindergardens, elderly homes, landscaped parks, museums several projects presented here show us his capacity to conceive practice outside the boundries of architectural work and thought process. He seems to have so much fun creating, the buildings although complex in execution, his models are filled with poetry and childlike simplicity.
